Saturday projects

Every second Saturday of the month we will open the workshop to share one of the projects that we have developed as part of our programming. These are fun, step-by-step assembly projects often with an open-ended detail to be created. Work with a child, friends or family and make it a Saturday am outing! (Kit designs may be altered or substituted by the date of the workshop - you will be notified if this happens)

Open to anyone: 9 AM - 12 PM (Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

Flower Arrangement with Bees

Make this “planetary flower pot” complete with a daisy, buzzing bees, and flower pot. An embedded planetary gear holds the daisy in place while the bees buzz around it.

Candy Pooping Bunny

It’s coming up on Easter - of course we have to do the candy-pooping bunny! Pull it’s ears and it’ll drop an Easter surprise…
We prefer chocolate eggs, but you can load it with anything you want to!

Egg Spinner/Decorator

Decorating eggs just became a lot easier! Build this egg spinner and gently hold markers to the egg while it spins. It makes great stripes and other patterns given your creative input. It’s actually kind of fun just to watch it spin.

Unless otherwise stated, all workshops occur at the Brown County STEM Innovation Center on the UW-Green Bay Campus.
